Describe the invention as is was in the Renaissance. Include information that was important to its development.
Matches were a lot more dangerous during the renaissance than they are today. But they served their purpose. The match was a piece of paper coated with phosphorous and a piece of wood with sulfur on it. They were important because you could start fires easier.
How has this invention changed through the years? How has its purpose changed throughout the years?
The look of the matches have changed because they don't use paper anymore they use wood. I think the purpose of the match hasn't changed because we still use them to start fires for cooking or to stay warmer.
