Message from the Principal

GLOW Students & Families,

I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful Spring Break! As a reminder, tomorrow (Monday, April 17) is a teacher workday, so students still have one day of break left to enjoy!

As we enter these final 6 weeks of the 23-24 school year, we do so with anticipation, excitement, and a sense of urgency to ensure students have learned everything they need to be successful on end of grade/end of course testing and to be prepared for the next grade level. While it can be easy to think of the end of year as a period of "winding down," these are perhaps some of the most important weeks of the school year.

With that in mind support and cooperation from our parents has also never been more important!

Student attendance is VITAL to academic success! Not only do we need your support in ensuring that students "get up and out" in the morning so they can be present and on time for school, but ensuring that students are meeting behavior and uniform expectations is also imperative to student attendance.

While we are committed to providing equitable access to instruction for all of our students, we will not allow disruptive behavior to impact the learning of others. We will also hold true to our uniform policies and expectation that require students be in uniform compliance before they can report to class. This is an especially important reminder for our high school students, as we saw a rise in uniform infractions among these students prior to spring break. Parents, please ensure that your student is meeting uniform expectations before they leave for school each day. If you need a reminder of these expectations for student dress, you can find those HERE.

Parents, we couldn't do this work without you and appreciate, in advance, your support to ensure a strong and successful final few weeks of the 23-24 school year.

Parents, if you have not already done so, please complete THIS BRIEF SURVEY to let us know if your student to return to GLOW for the 2023-2024 school year. Are you undecided? That's ok...there's an option for that, as well. This survey is VERY BRIEF, but the information you provide is vital to our planning for the upcoming year.

We also know that family's plans and circumstances change over the summer. If you complete the survey and need to make a change, just let us know.

National Honors Society Blood Drive

NHS will be hosting a blood drive fundraiser on campus Monday April 24th in partnership with The Blood Connection. Those age 16 and older may participate (16 year olds must have a signed consent form found HERE. Copies will also be available at the front desk.)

Donors do not need to be a GLOW Academy student or teacher/staff member to give. Share this information with your family, friends, and coworkers - it's always more fun when people give together!

Tell a Friend, Get a Shirt!

We still have some spots available for the 2023-24 school year. Our Admissions Department will continue to provide tours of campus to interested families throughout March.

Please encourage your friends, neighbors, and coworkers with a rising 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grader to check out GLOW Academy. When they do, you will receive a uniform shirt*!

Be sure to have your referral mention your name at the start of the tour. You will receive an email with a voucher for a shirt.

HERE is the link to sign up or the may email

*One shirt voucher per student.
