Duluth Public Library & ISD709 partner up to provide free electronic access for students
ISD 709 has entered into a partnership with Duluth Public library to allow all ISD 709 students free access to library resources through an electronic library card called a PORT CARD:
- physical books, movies, music, toys, etc.
- databases for research
There is no financial risk to our students. If they lose a resource, the library staff will work with that student to "pay" the replacement cost of the book by reading or completing other activities via their "Fresh Start" program.
Students can check out up to five (5) physical materials and up to ten (10) ebooks/audiobooks.
Please see the PORT CARD FAQ page for more information here.
ISD709 students can sign up for a PORT CARD through this electronic form.
