How our Class of 2016 rallied around one of their own

Ian's Story

Most of us never knew the personal challenge being faced by one of our MD students in the Class of 2016. Or, how his classmates rallied around him to help him and his family.

Our video tells Ian's Story. You may read about it, too, on UH Med Now.

Awards presented to Hawai'i's newest physicians

Every year, generous donors provide cash awards at graduation to support our worthy MD students and congratulate them for their achievement in various categories of clinical practice, academic excellence, research or community service. Those taking time out to personally attend the Convocation Ceremony to present the awards included community leaders, physicians and both faculty and faculty volunteers. We’re grateful for their time!

Congratulations to the 2016 MD Graduates recognized on May 15, 2016. Read the story.
