Great things!
We enjoyed having our NEHS students from CW last week! They were excited to be here and saw some familiar faces.
Dental day went smoothly with only a few tears. Lots of x-rays, cleanings, and even some fillings were done by Big Smiles. Thank you Dr. Whitmore and staff!
Some of our classes got out and explored the new play space. They had a blast jumping off of the tires, crawling inside the big tire and hopping across the stepping stones!
Trunk or Treat was a fun night for our families and staff. We had about 100 children and about as many adults that signed in. It was so neat to see all of the costumes and families enjoying themselves! Thank you to each of you that helped bring this event together for our families!
Title one visited the pumpkin patch and had a beautiful day for it! The sun was shining and they were able to check out all of the neat things at Faulkners!
Fire trucks and ambulances were a hit too! Thank you to our fire fighters and paramedics/EMTs for coming out to talk to us!
Challenge: Do a check back on your journal entry last week. Did you have success with what you did? If so-what did you have to do to make it work? If you were not successful-what could you do differently? If you have not already written this reflection in your journal-do so this week. Take a few minutes to write and reflect on the goal you set. This will be your second journal entry.
Mayor Jones stopped by!
Thank you to our fabulous transportation staff!

Nuts-n-Bolts:
* Staff arrival times for unloading cars/busses has been getting later and later. All staff needs to be on duty and beginning to receive students at 7:55/8:55 & 12:25/12:55. Please be mindful of the time in the mornings and at mid-day.
* When coming in/out of the playground doors-please check behind you to be sure the towel is not caught in the door. It has been found stuck in the door-thus propping the door open on several occasions in the morning and at night.
* Websites were due to be updated by end of day October 26th-I heard from three people that this was complete. Please update ASAP if you are not one of those three people.
* November library book shelving duty: Lisa
*November Art in the Office: Susan
