National Board Certification offers educators enriching personal and professional growth. We invite you to reflect on what you have written and get ready to submit your components.
The morning will start out with a Q & A Session with NBCTs who have assessed components. The remaining sessions will be opportunities for peer review and meeting in small groups with a PLF. (A Professional Learning Facilitator is National Board vernacular for an NBCT trained to work with candidates.)
Session for Advanced Candidates: Disappointed in the score you earned on a submitted component? Meet with other advanced candidates and a facilitator to plan your new submission.
Session for Renewal Candidates: This session will review the components of the Profile of Professional Growth—the renewal process for all NBCTs certified in 2011 or before. Next school year the renewal process will be different. The new Maintenance of Certificate (MOC) component is not out yet.
All participants will have the opportunity to network with colleagues, current NBCTs and Candidate Support Providers (Now called PLFs)
