Cutest Dog Contest to benefit Paola Dog Park
Kids Connect Civic Engagement Club has been busy organizing Sunflower's Cutest Dog contest to help support the building of Paola Dog Park. Jars with pictures of the winning dog from each class are on display in the foyer. Students and staff are encouraged to vote for their favorites by placing money in the jars. All the proceeds will directly benefit Paola Dog Park. Thank you for your help in supporting this fantastic opportunity for our community!

Free School Dental Clinic
Friendly Smiles Dental Outreach Clinic will be at Sunflower Elementary on Thursday, March 12th.

NEW Influenza Regulations
New influenza regulations:
"Based on updated recommendations from Kansas Department of Health and Environment, USD #368 school board has updated policy on the management of influenza in school. Any student with a confirmed case of influenza will need to be home from school for 5 days from the onset of symptoms."
Please let Robin or myself know if there are any questions or reported cases as we will be tracking confirmed cases.
