Transformed
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
~Romans 12:2
Principal's Corner
“You are a letter from Christ...This ‘letter’ is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.” 2 Cor. 3:3 NLT
Most of us do not go a day or even a few hours without checking our email. It’s fast, it’s free, and it’s practical. But don’t you just love it when you go to the mailbox, and in the US Mail is a letter from a good friend or a loved one? Doesn’t that make your day? A real letter is special because you know the other person thought about you and went to the trouble to purchase a stamp and hand write a precious note just for you. That beats an email any day, doesn’t it?
It has been said that sometimes we are the only ‘Bible’ a person will ever read. We are a letter from Christ. When you are sharing your faith, or even in your everyday relationships, always try to go the extra mile with people. Go beyond “fast, free, and practical.” Be more than an email: be a precious letter from Christ, and take the time to let them know how loved and treasured they are by you, and by the Lord!
As we quickly approach the upcoming summer, remember to cherish every minute and every encounter with others; as it has been said ‘Share the Gospel message of Jesus every day, and if necessary use words!’ Have a blessed and relaxing summer with family and friends. We look forward to the next school year with you here at Red Hill Lutheran.

2019 Tustin Superhero – RHLS’s own Mrs. Chantey Darling
The Tustin Community Foundation seeks to annually recognize Superheroes of Tustin. Red Hill Lutheran School nominee, Mrs. Chantey Darling received this year’s award/recognition and was honored as a 2019 Superhero of Tustin at the 11th Annual Tustin Community Foundation - Community Volunteer Recognition Luncheon held at Trinity United Presbyterian Church!
Chantey (pictured below) receiving her recognition award and ‘cape’ from California State Assemblyman, Mr. Steven Choi. She has given countless hours of her time in so many different areas of the school. In addition to being the mother of four beautiful young Christian girls, she works tirelessly for all children in her many roles in the Tustin Community. She even started an American Heritage Girls (AHG) chapter at Red Hill Lutheran. The AHG chapter is helping to teach young girls about how to live out their Christian faith in the community, serve others, and learn new life skills at the same time. Chantey has provided the passion and vision to help raise funding for many projects at Red Hill Lutheran School that benefit students and their Christian education at Red Hill Lutheran School, as well as the Tustin and Orange County communities. She has done this through food drives, clothing for the homeless, and senior care. Chantey always shares her amazing PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) in her words and in her actions. Tustin is a better community as a result of Superhero, Chantey Darling.
*Previous RHLS Superhero’s include, Mrs. Autumn Gould (2018); Mrs. Cathy Vallevieni and Mrs. Liz Latch (2017).

Attention Middle School!
Middle school will be heading back up the mountain to Forest Home Christian Camp this July 21st-26th for a week at Creekside! Forest Home has partnered with Red Hill to give middle school students an excellent week away for the past few years. Not only will your students have an amazing, adventure packed week, but they will also have an incredible adventure with the God who created EVERYTHING, including them!
In a world where we so often feel forgotten and invisible, this summer we will all be reminded that we are precious children of God, and therefore we always have Him on our side and in our corner!
If you haven’t experienced summer “FOHO”, you definitely want to mark your calendars! This is an impactful week for your student and allows for some deep and meaningful relationships to be built! Please don’t wait – sign up today to secure your student’s spot!
