Westwood's Elementary AP
Through the Lens of the Elementary Assistant Principal
Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year!
As the Elementary Assistant Principal for the Westwood Regional Schools, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back to a new and exciting school year! I am so excited to see the halls of our elementary schools come to life with the enthusiastic and smiling faces of our children.
At this time, first day jitters have subsided and I would like to take this opportunity and invite you in sharing my days throughout our Elementary Schools. It is evident that our teachers and students are well underway in engaging within our new curriculum initiatives and offering our students the invaluable learning experiences they deserve!
I take great pride in being a part of the Westwood Regional Schools and its amazing community. I enjoy working collaboratively with each elementary school principal ensuring that our students are receiving an unforgettable educational experience each and every day.
I encourage you to follow each of our elementary schools twitter feeds and join us as we unveil a year of creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication.

DATA ANALYSIS WEBINAR
This was such an informative webinar on the collection and vital role that data plays within our schools. It covered a variety of techniques that can be implemented in order to determine student growth on individual students as well as student groups. A huge take back from this webinar was the importance of the criterion used in order to assess and evaluate areas of student strength and weakness.
