Born in Brooklyn, NY on July 19, 1953. Howard Schultz went to Northern Michigan University. He was awarded the leadership award for his work with children and education. People describe him as a very driven person, as do all of his fellow friends. His parents Fred Schultz, a truck driver, and Elaine Schultz have had a big role in his success. His leader traits are most definately what make him successful. His traits are confidence, honesty, and the most important of all, perserverance. Howard and I have some of the same traits. Confidence is the biggest one we share. Condidence the the most important one for him because you have to have get up in front of a lot of people. Every leader should show at least a few traits. Confidence, honesty, perserverance, and a postive attitude are some that you should have.
