MHS Updates
3rd Quarter Coming to An End
If your child is struggling, have them come up with a plan to improve. When we return we will have approximately 45 instructional days prior to finals, and less for Seniors. Time is running out for students to demonstrate their mastery.
AZ Merit Testing Schedule
Important Points:
- Subjects tested; English 1-3 (includes AP/IB English), Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II
- Testers arrive at 7:15 while non-testers arrive at 10:15.
- April 11th is an early release
- April 12th is not a late start
The AzMerit exam provides us valuable data on our strengths and weaknesses so that we can make adjustments in our curriculum and teaching practices to prepare students for post-secondary experiences. AzMerit scores also provide our school label, which is ultimately the judge of how well we do.
We ask for your support in encouraging your child to do their best on the exam. because we want to be the best we can be.
Below is the schedule.
