From the Principal:
Bullying Prevention Week is also coming up soon! Look for more information from our counselor, Katie Ostrander. It should be a fun and meaningful week.
Several grade levels will be having Thanksgiving Feasts on the Friday before we go to break. Please be sure to check with your child's teacher to see if they will be having one.
Bring in those Box Tops! We are starting the process of collecting and counting them each week, so please bring them in to our school.
Thanks for all you do to help LSRO be successful! Have a great weekend!
From Our Assessment Specialist:
Due to Fall Benchmark testing, our campus will be CLOSED to parents and visitors on November 8th, 14th, and 15th. Parents will not be allowed to eat lunch with students, volunteer, or do classroom observations on these 3 days. Thank you for your cooperation!
These tests give teachers important information about what your child has learned so far and what still needs to be worked on this spring, so please help your child by making sure they get enough sleep and have a good breakfast!
From Our Nurse:
Help Support Mustang Special Olympics:
Thank you to all who have sent in their orders for the Special Olympic t-shirts. They will be on sale through 11/8. You can go to our school website to view the shirt in color. You can also print an order form there if you need one. Remember – the proceeds from the sale of this shirt will go to buy uniforms for our LSRO Special Olympic athletes. The shirt can be worn on Fridays, as well as on Special Olympic meet days in the spring. We truly appreciate your support for these amazing student athletes!!
From Our Counselor:
From Our Art Teacher:
Art class is in need of CEREAL BOXES and LARGE Cracker boxes (think Ritz).
We could also use glue sticks and rolls of tin foil (regular weight).
Parenting points will be given for donations.
