Getting a Lock on Internet Safety
It Is Important To Stay Safe on the Internet
How Things Have Changed
When your parents were young they were told not to talk to strangers. But with the invention of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other forms of social media it has become much more difficult. Posting any information, pictures, statuses, locations, and birthdates could result in you "talking to strangers."
Block It
Block people who send nasty messages or who you may not know. And definitely don't open any emails or links from unknown sources.
Flag It
Raise your flag, or tell someone you trust if anything upsets you or if someone asks you to meet offline.
Zip It
Keep your personal information off of the Internet. Think about what you post before you hit the submit button.
