Matthew is one of Australia's best composer / Lyricist's and offers an incredible amount of depth to his vocal and musical theatre training in this workshop . Scott Morris has just finished performing in The Australian Tour of Grease and Chorus Line with many other credits to his name. He will lead you on a journey of dance performance for Musical Theatre. Two incredible teachers in ONE workshop.

- 5pm to 7pm Ages 8,9,10, Classes are split into two and participants work with each director separately

Composer/lyricist Matthew Robinson is the youngest ever recipient of Australia’s richest theatre-writing award, the Pratt Prize for Music Theatre. His winning musical Metro Street received its Australian and South Korean Premieres in 2009 and went on to be nominated for five Helpmann Awards, the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award, three South Korean DIMF Awards and won the Adelaide Theatre Guide Award for Best Musical and the UTAS Stephen Schwartz Song writing Award. With assistance from the Australia Council for the Arts and Power Arts, Matthew most recently returned from New York City having conducted developmental readings of his latest musical Atlantis for Stephen Schwartz and representatives from Stuart Thompson Productions, Manhattan Theatre Club, Atlantic Theatre Company, Playwrights Horizons, Roundabout, Araca, Cameron Mackintosh and Disney Theatrical Productions.

Scott Morris
Scott is currently appearing in Australian/Asian tour of Grease. Other theatre credits include Mark in A Chorus Line, as well as understudying the role of Paul, Sketch in Hairspray (Link Larkin Understudy), Ernst in Sydney Theatre Company’s Spring Awakening, John Jnr in Shout! The Legend of the Wild One, High School Musical (Ryan/Jack Scott understudy), Cameron Mackintosh’s Oliver! and Young Cosmo in Singin’ In the Rain.
Television credits include Dance Academy, My High School Musical, The Election Chaser CNNN and co-host of K-Zone Kids TV. Scott has performed in numerous corporate events and appeared across Australia in live stage shows for Nickelodeon.
Scott is a graduate of both Brent Street’s Talent Development High School and the Full Time Certificate IV course. He is also the recipient of two scholarships to Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Camp in New York.
