Headteacher's Comment

The summer holidays are coming to a close and I wanted to be in touch to let you know what school will look like in September. Please read the information below carefully. You will find information about start and finish times, uniform, entrance points and dates for your diary.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back in September when things are back to 'normal' - we can start to pick up from where we left off before COVID-19 struck.

Thanks

Mr D. Nelson

Classes for next year!

There is a little movement in staffing for the upcoming year, 2021/22. We are back to our full quota of teachers and teaching assistants back for September, which is great news.

Early Years (inlcuding Little Learners): Miss Bason, Mrs Rose, Mrs Jones, Miss McKever, Ms. White (Julie) & Mrs Ball (Sue)

Year 1/2: Miss Clarkson, Mrs Lumsden, Miss Brown & Mrs Quinn

Year 3/4: Miss Railton, Miss Sadler & Mrs Ball

Year 5/6: Mr Smith & Miss Taylor

School Uniform Reminder

Another reminder about the slight changes to uniform we are making. From September 2021 we are making some changes to our uniform for the children. The school uniform will be (see images below):

maroon/grey (Y6) sweatshirt

light blue polo t-shirt

plain black leggings/joggers

maroon hoodie

trainers

The reason for this slight change is due to the increase in active/outdoor activities we are planning for the children from September 2021.

To help with costs school will be providing every child with a PE kit - light blue t-shirt, maroon shorts and a bag. This will be kept in school at all times, with school washing them regularly.

Summer Camps

The 4 weeks of summer camps that took place over the holiday period were a great success with the children enjoying a wide variety of activities, including drama, dodgeball, rounders, cooking etc.
