Safety is a huge priority at Morse Elementary. We have procedures and policies in place to make sure students arrive and depart safely. Unfortunately, there continues to be many unsafe behaviors when dropping off and picking up students, and we need your help to ensure the safety of all our students.

• Students may not arrive until 7:20am which is when breakfast service begins.

• Students who arrive at 7:20am must come through the Main Gate in the front of our school.

• In regards to arrival and dismissal, if you would like to stay in the car to drop off or pick up your child, you must go through the parking lot with our Morse Valet procedures.

• Please use the crosswalk in front of the school when crossing Morse Avenue. Walking your child through traffic and cars is dangerous. The crosswalk in front of the school is a short walk when crossing, and we ask that you take a few minutes extra to make sure your child arrives safely to school or back to your car.

• Please make sure that when you drive through our parking lot that you are not speeding. We have a staff member at the exit of the parking lot during arrival and dismissal to help children and families safely cross.

• When exiting the parking lot - it is a right turn only during arrival and pick-up.

• Please do not make U-turns in the middle of Morse Avenue - again this is unsafe as well as backs up the traffic.

• Only students are allowed to go through any gate onto campus. All visitors must go through the office to check-in.
