Reading Challenge Luncheon
Our ELA teacher and Mrs. Leisten do a wonderful job promoting literacy in our building. AR is a big piece of it, but there are always other ways they encourage students to read. Each year there is a reading challenge, and we had great participation this year!

8th Grade
History For American History, students teamed up to recreate and reenact an important piece of history. Presentations included important people, places, and technology that contributed and influenced to event. | Science In science, students did a spectrum lab to learn about stars and what elements make up the stars. Students took notes and then went to the "observatory" in the conference room for the lab! | Math For 8th grade math, students created board games. They had to work in groups to create their own board game based on a topic they covered this year. They were responsible for the board, questions, game pieces, and instructions. |
