Front Office Message
Good evening! September has arrived and Fall is right around the corner. As we begin to enjoy the extended weekend (No School Monday September 5-Labor Day), we have many great things from Seeger High School to praise and enjoy from the past week.
There are many important dates coming up including: 1st 9-week grading period, Parent Teacher Conferences, sectional play, and some great Early College News.
As a reminder, If your child is sick and is being sent home by the nurse, please check in at the front office, and we will direct you on where to pick up your child. This is to ensure student and staff safety. Seeger Administration along with our SRO and Nurses are working diligently to improve and employ sound building safety practices. Any visitor, parent, or guardian needs to enter through the main entrance and check-in with Mrs. Nern or Mrs. Hartman.
Lastly, take some time this weekend to recharge, relax, and enjoy some time with family and friends.
Have a great Labor day!
Best Regards,
Seeger Administration

Mrs. Such's Who Dunnit Math Murder Mystery
Mrs. Such’s geometry classes went outside to solve a murder mystery using deductive reasoning. Deductive reasoning is one of many critical math process skills which empower our students to be intuitive problem solvers. Students were having a blast not memorizing or working solely with formulas from a textbook. Instead Mrs. Such allowed her students to engaged in discussion, eliminate unnecessary information, and rely on multiple pathways to solve problems. Although many students may not use "geometry" in their future careers, they will need to use the soft skills, perseverance, and the abilities to problem solve--the daily occurrences in Mrs. Such's classroom.
Way to empower our students, Mrs. Such!

Message from Mrs. Smiley:
Seeger Students will have the opportunity to participate in a 2 week exchange this school year with our partner school in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Seeger High School will have 17 Germans coming to Warren County on October 10th and staying for around 8 days.
We are looking for host families who have a Seeger student. You take care of the German while they are here as though they are a member of your family, and provide a bed for them.
They will attend school and we will have numerous group activities and excursions planned. You will make a new friend for life and have a connection in Germany! They are most excited about experiencing everyday
American teenager life. The only cost involved is feeding your German when they are in your home or with your family. They will have their own spending money.
Mrs. Smiley will also be taking students to Germany for the two weeks of Spring Break 2023. We will stay in the homes of the Germans who visit Warren County this October. We will attend their school, visit castles, live every-day German life, and do some travelling before heading home. Cost is still being determined for this trip, but may be around $2000 for two weeks in Germany- which is a great deal!
