From the desk of Lauren, Maggie and Marianne
Please join me in welcoming Rebecca Feagin and Amber Patrick to our team! Rebecca is coming to us from Elgin and will be joining our SPED team. Amber is coming from Reagan Elementary and will be teaching 3rd grade math/science. We are SO excited to have them join the Mustang family!
For the new school year, we will be implementing a new process for recruiting Team Leaders and members of our Leadership Team. Both of these positions will go through an application process. You can find the job descriptions and duties on each of the applications. There is a $500/year stipend for the Leadership Team position. Please make sure you read the descriptions of these leadership positions carefully and complete the application if you would like to be considered. All grade level and special program teams, with the exception of SPED, must have a team leader and leadership team representative. The SPED Team Leader will also serve as the Leadership Team representative. All applications are due by 5:00pm on May 10th. We will notify all applicants, either way, by May 17th.

Leander ISD is built upon a foundation of support, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices.
One of the ways that we exemplify this is through LISD’s annual Continuous Improvement Conference, slated for October 14 & 15, 2019. To ensure that the conference continues to be a place for us to share, explore, and learn from one another, we need your contribution!
Please consider submitting a session proposal by completing this Google Form:

All sessions should align to one (or more) of the following strands:
