We take our monthly evacuation drills seriously to ensure we can keep your students safe. Our fire drills are always silent. November's drill was last week.

Late Start on Monday!
FCS is utilizing a 1-hour late start six times this year. Teachers receive professional development and team planning time to analyze student performance and plan instruction.
What should I know about late start days?
- Students are considered on time if they arrive between 9:30-9:45
- Classes and instruction begin at 9:45
- Families have the choice to send children at normal arrival time of 8:30-8:45
- A.M. bus stop times will not be altered on late start days
- Breakfast is served only at normal time of 8:30-8:45
- Carpoolers please ride with friends + neighbors to reduce carpool traffic (PLEASE!)

Free Vision Screening
Saturday, November 20th 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Solidarity Sandy Springs (5920 Roswell Rd Ste C-212, Sandy Springs, GA 30328). If your child needs glasses they'll get a voucher for FREE glasses and a FREE full eye exam.
Friday the 19th No After School Activities
On the days preceding extended breaks, school administrators must report that all students have safely left the campus after school. As such we want to notify you that there are no after school activities Friday, November 19th as we prepare for the holiday break. Please ensure your child rides the bus or is picked up in carpool between 4:05 and 4:20.
If Your Student Is Not Feeling Well
Always keep your student home if symptoms may be related to COVID-19 such as: Fever - Sore Throat - Congestion - Runny Nose - Chills - Cough. Parents must report to our Parent(Student) Reporting Portal and students must stay home until further notice if your student:
- Has had confirmed direct contact outside of school with a covid-positive individual
- Is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test
- Has tested positive for COVID-19
Always send a hand-written or e-mailed attendance note when your child returns to school to our front office - pricem@fultonschools.org.
