Dyer's Fun Run Was AWESOME!
Our Dyer Fun Run was a HUGE success! To everyone who supported our school and came out to the Fun Run, THANK YOU! It's not too late to get more pledges and earn more prizes. The folks at Boosterthon are going to leave pledging open until next week, so feel free to use the long weekend to your advantage.
All pledges are due by next Thursday, 2/15. Checks made payable to Dyer Elementary are our preferred method of payment but cash is okay too. Simply enclose the pledge money in the envelopes provided by the Boosterthon team and return to your child's teacher by next Thursday. Thanks again for generously supporting our school!
If you are able to help us count pledges on the morning of Thursday 2/15 or Thursday 2/22, please click here to sign up.
Parents Can Get In On The Fun Too!
Paws for Books Book Fair - February 12th - 23rd:
Do you love to craft or decorate? Is the book store your favorite hang-out on a Saturday afternoon? Maybe you want to get a glimpse of the dads and daughters during the dance? Ms. Langford has volunteer opportunities for everyone on various days at several different times. Don't miss this opportunity to spend time in our magical media center, (snacks and coffee will be provided too, it's better than Barnes & Noble). Dyer PTO 2018-2019 Nominating Committee Members Needed:
We've got some big shoes to fill next year, and we could use 3 - 5 volunteers to help run the 2018-2019 PTO Board of Directors Election. The job of the nominating committee is to promote the upcoming election, explain the requirements for the elected positions, reach out to potential candidates, accept nominations, and manage the actual election process. The nominating committee must be unbiased throughout its work. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please fill out this electronic form by next Friday 2/16, so our PTO can contact you.

Georgia Parent Survey
Parents,
Please help us improve our school by taking a few minutes to complete an important survey for the State of Georgia.
The Georgia Parent Survey is from the State of Georgia and assists with our College and Career Readiness Climate Star Rating. You may complete the State survey on your computer, smartphone, or tablet or in the Dyer Media Center. We would like ALL parents to complete this State survey, and all responses are anonymously submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Please click here to access the State survey.
We hope you will take a few minutes to complete this important survey to help us improve Dyer Elementary. Thanks for your support!
