Health & Safety
Thank you for sending your child with a clean mask each day!
Please use the Student Illness Tracking Tool (button below) to determine if students should attend school. Please contact our office if your child is ill or if anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19.
Please remember:
- Students MUST quarantine if there is an individual within your household that has tested positive for COVID-19
- Students MUST quarantine if they exhibit COVID-19 symptoms (according to tracking tool below) unless/until they receive a negative test result, and you can provide those results to the school office or district nurse
- Students MUST quarantine if they are awaiting test results
If your child will at home in quarantine for an extended period of time, please contact your child's teacher directly about school work they can complete at home.
Throughout each school year, we conduct various school safety drills including fire, tornado, medical emergency, and danger/intruder (ALICE). Prior to each drill, teachers and students discuss what to do in the event of an emergency or dangerous situation. We will begin teaching these lessons and conducting drills in the coming weeks.
If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher or Joanna Bannon.
Thank you for your continued support!

Resources for Parents - Social Emotional Learning
An important skill Preschool and Kindergarten students are working on is naming and talking about their feelings and thoughts. This awareness helps them practice how to manage their emotions and focus their attention. They are also beginning to better understand other people’s feelings and form friendships. At the same time, they’re still looking for lots of support from caring adults like you.

During the elementary school years, children are beginning to develop a clearer sense of who they are and starting to think about their future goals.
During grades 1-5, children are also starting to build stronger friendships and learning to work through challenges more independently. As they develop their problem-solving strategies, they’re learning how their choices can impact others, and beginning to understand how they can take actions to help their families, schools, or communities.
School Breakfast Program
Don't forget that breakfast is available to ANY student for FREE. Students can enter the building at 8:15 a.m. (5 minutes early) only if they are eating breakfast. Students that are not participating in the breakfast program should continue to arrive anytime between 8:20 - 8:40 and go to their classroom for soft start.
Students that ride the bus will be able to get breakfast when they arrive, as long as they go straight to the cafeteria. If busses are late, breakfast will still be available when they arrive.
Breakfast will consist of cold items such as cereal, granola bars, fruit, juice and milk.
