Lockport City School District
Fourth Quarter Report Cards available Friday, June 19 at 2PM
First and foremost, thank you for all you have done to continue helping your child learn throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The remote Learning at Home activities were intended to keep students engaged in learning and to retain skills previously taught. Participation at any level will benefit your child.
Students in Kindergarten - Grade 4 will receive a report card that will not report content area grades in the core areas, reading level, or successful learner characteristics. However, you can expect to see comments from the classroom teacher and/or special area teacher(s) in the narrative comments section.
At this time, it is too early to determine the structure and placement of students for the 2020-21 school year. As more information becomes available this summer parents/guardians will be notified of their child’s grade level and teacher assignment. Therefore, grade level and teacher name for the 2020-2021 school year will remain blank for now. In the meantime, any questions or concerns about your child’s academic progress should be discussed with the teacher and/or building principal.
Please continue to provide learning opportunities over the summer. Encourage your child to read often, write, and do mathematics.
Report cards will be available on Parent Portal Friday, June 19th at 2:00 pm.
