Each year in May, CCA holds an election for our Board of Directors. There will be 3 open positions. 2 of the requirements to be considered as a CCA Board member are:

1. Potential candidates must attend a minimum of two (2) regular CCA Board meetings during the nine (9) months prior to the April Board meeting. The February & March Board meetings are eligible meetings for this requirement.

2. Potential candidates must interview with at least one (1) current Board member prior to the nomination form submittal deadline (between March 27 - April 10, 2023).

The candidate forms and biography forms will be shared in March 2023. For the complete Election Procedure Packet please see attached.

We will discontinue live streaming our monthly PTO meetings in March 2023. Our goal is to have our meetings return to in-person community gatherings where we can get to know each other and share ideas. Our agendas and minutes will continue to be available online for those who are unable to attend.

We want to hear from you! What is going well? What questions do you have? Interested in joining a committee or getting involved some other way? Please let us know here and we will work to address your questions in upcoming newsletters and/or in 1:1 communication. Fill out this form!

Dear CCA Families,

We are already beginning to prepare for the Spring Art & Music Festival. If you would like to gain some volunteer hours, we could use help matting and labeling all of our student work to prepare for the show. If you have an hour or two any time during March and April, please let me know and you can help make this festival happen. We could use about 30 hours of volunteer time for this.

Parents, each year we put together a slideshow video of our 8th graders and show it at graduation. We are asking that you please fill out this form in order to submit a baby/young child photo of your 8th grader and a current photo of them to be shared at graduation. Students and families will have to opportunity to fundraise for their own trip or make the decision to put the funds they raise into a collective pot to be disbursed where funds are needed for the trip.

Each year, the Cherry Creek Academy Foundation awards a one-time academic scholarship of $1,000 to a high school senior who attended CCA. If you know a graduating senior who is interested in applying for the 2023 scholarship award to support future studies, please encourage them to make sure their current email address is on file in PowerSchool at My.cherrycreekschools.org. CCA alumni graduating in 2023 should expect to receive instructions via email by March 17 on how to apply for the CCA Foundation scholarship. Seniors no longer in the Cherry Creek District remain eligible and may email their contact information to scholarshipcommittee@cherrycreekacademy.org

Multicultural Festival, March 10, 2023 - 5:30-8:00 pm

It's not too late to register to be a lead of a country (double volunteer hours) or have your student in the performance segment of the Festival! During this performance students, can be in a group or solo. Students may dance, sing, or play an instrument pertaining to a country of choice.

We will have a raffle to earn prizes - Earn tickets or purchase 3 for $1

We will have a photo booth available for $1 per session not person.

We have added volunteer spots for in-person and donations for refreshments.
