AIM WEEKLY UPDATES

October 14, 2019

Big picture
“Achieving in the Middle” is our initiative aimed to improve academic achievement in 24 Dallas ISD Middle Schools by creating, refining, and supporting best-in-class systems for leading and learning.
Please read this week's newsletter for the latest AIM news and calendar updates on professional development. Have a wonderful week and please reach out if you have any questions.

In this week's edition:

Congrats are in order!

We want to update AIM campuses on a change with the AIM coordinator. Ms. Shadaria Foster is now "acting" Principal of Kennedy-Curry Middle School and so she has stepped down from her role as AIM coordinator. We wish her congratulations and the best of luck and thank her for all of her hard work with the 24 AIM campuses!

ILT Monthly Training Update

The ILT trainings that were previously scheduled for once a month at Edison have now been adjusted so that ILTs will now attend the CIC conferences instead of those separate trainings. The next CIC conference will be held on Tuesday, November 5th at Edison. Please mark your calendars for that and we will be sending out the registration link soon.

Your EDs and network coordinators will be reaching out to you if there are additional trainings for ILTs to attend, and those will be facilitated in networks from now on.

Communications Update

For AIM campuses that have questions, please ensure that you reach out to Leslie Stephens lestephens@dallasisd.org.
