- Hear from a panel of professors on the philosophical, economic, scientific, and environmental impacts of factory farmed livestock.
- Join the discussion on these impacts right after!

Mike Branch: Nature Writer and Humorist
Mark Twain Lecture Series, ENST Department, and Voices Reading come together to present: Mike Branch!
April 2nd, 8PM, DPC
- A Professor of English at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he teaches American literature, writing, and film.
- A co-founder of the Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (ASLE) and co-editor of the University of Virginia Press book series Under the Sign of Nature.
- Has published five books and more than 200 essays, articles, and reviews, and his essays have been nominated for Pushcart Prizes and recognized as “Notable Essays” in The Best American Essays, The Best American Science and Nature Writing, and The Best American Nonrequired Reading.
- Come learn more and hear a reading from our esteemed guest!
This event is free and open to the public.
A reception and book signing will follow the reading.
