Police- Deputy chief constable
A deputy chief constable is 2nd in command in the force and they can temporarily hold the position of the chief constable. Their rank is equivalent to a Assistant Commissioner in the city of London police & deputy assistant commissioner in the metropolitan police.
Their Responsibilities
- They observe any groups within the department
- They work relevantly close with equivalent ranks, for example: Head of operations of the Ambulance service.
