Whatever you do at home to practice math, reading, writing is "homework". We will be sending out math practice sheets starting this week as a support for in class learning.

We will be having a snack every day at 2:20 p.m.. This week, I will provide the snacks for our kids. Please provide us with something healthy and easy to eat. I have 20 students in the classroom.
Students are welcome to bring their water bottles, please label them.

We are focusing in "taking charge of reading". Learning skills that will help us become independent and strong readers. You will see a folder come home for logging in reading information. KEEP AT HOME FOR THE WEEK AND WEEK-END. BRING BACK ON MONDAYS
We are working on fact families. What two parts make a total? Your student knows how to make these houses. Start at the top with a total. The houses use the same three numbers. They are a family! Try it out!
We are learning about what is a scientist and what a scientist does. 1. observe 2. asks questions 3. gets information 4. experiments 5. writes down observation and notes on experiments. 6. communicates information gathered. We went outside and observed, drew and labeled.
