Drama dollars (could be adapted easily to other departments)

Students will be given a certain amount of dollars at the start of a practical task and will have to buy:

  • props
  • costumes
  • use of lighting
  • buy access to a particular skill
  • or theatre convention to use in their work etc...

Students will therefore have to budget what they spend; keeping a running total over a series of lessons and make choices about drama skills alongside numeracy.

Could be used in other subjects such as food or CDT
