Topologies
The arrangement in which the nodes of a LAN are connected to each other.
For example Mesh topology (shown below) is the topology of a network whose components are all connected directly to every other component
Star topology
the topology of a network whose components are connected to a hub.
Bus topology
the topology of a network whose components are connected by a busbar
Ring topology
A ring network is a network topology in which each node connects to exactly two other nodes, forming a single continuous pathway for signals through each node - a ring
