What Elective will you take next year???

Fifth graders, it is time to start thinking about what elective you would like to take next year as a 6th grader. Can you believe it? You will have the choice of Art, Band or Choir. You will also choose between PE and Pre-Athletics. Since we can't have our typical assembly where all of the teachers and coaches talk to you about the different programs, we are going to start sharing information about the different electives each week. After we have shared all of the information, we will send out an Elective Choice Form (paper if we back on campus or Google Form if we are still doing At Home Learning) for you to fill out with your parents.

This week, we are sharing information about P.E. and Pre-Athletics...take a look below and see if you think it's the perfect fit for you!

Week 6 At Home Learning

Parents, we realize @ Home Learning is difficult for everyone, and our desire is to make this process as easy as possible for you, while still ensuring our students are getting what they need. For that reason, IW Evans has made the decision to slow the pace for Week 6 of @ Home Learning. We have determined that some of our students are progressing at the expected rate, while others are not completing work, or are experiencing some misconceptions. If your child is meeting our academic expectations, during Week 6 we have provided some enrichment activities. If your child is not making progress with their assignments, your child will be contacted by their teacher to set up a specific & required time during which your child and the teacher will meet virtually for help with work completion and reteaching. No new assignments will be assigned for any subject this week. Please respond to your child’s teacher’s phone calls promptly and have your child “meet” them virtually for their small group lesson so they get the additional support they need to be successful.

We appreciate all that our families are doing to make @ Home Learning a successful and positive experience!! Please remember, to reach out to our staff because they are here for you and truly want to help and teach their students as much as possible...let us take that stress off of you as much as we can. We are here for you, we miss you and we love you!! #ManyHeartsOneTribe

With love and appreciation,

Mrs. Fowler and Mrs. Foster
