Welcome to Kindergarten 2022-2023 Edition
A Note from Ms. Bigi
Dear Kindergarten Families,
Welcome to Dublin Elementary! I hope you have had a wonderful summer with your family and friends. I am excited to partner with you as your child begins his/her educational journey. This is my second year as the principal at Dublin Elementary and my twelfth year in education.
As a former Kindergarten teacher and current principal, I understand what an exiting time the beginning of Kindergarten is for you and your child! Your child is in kind, capable hands with our kindergarten teachers and our entire staff. Below you will find important information about our Meet and Greet, PTA Kindergarten Popsicles on the Playground, the staggered start on the first day of school, transportation, and more.
I know this year will be a great start to your child's time at Dublin!
Fondly,
Danielle Bigi

Enrollment
All Kindergarten families should complete the online enrollment process ASAP. You will receive an email confirmation once your enrollment has been processed. The Student Service Department is often flooded with enrollments at this time and finalization can take time. If you have completed all steps and submitted all paperwork, you should hear from Student Services soon letting you know that everything has been finalized.
If you have questions about enrollment, please contact Student Services at 248-956-2085 or 248-956-2086. You can also contact our main office for help.
Back-to-School Online Registration
Each school year, parents/guardians must complete our back-to-school “packet” on Skyward Family Access (also referred to as registration). This is different than enrollment and is required for both new and previous students. Parents/guardians update student information, emergency contacts, and provide other information.
The registration window is open and you can find directions on how to complete the online "packet" on this website. This must be completed in order to see your child’s classroom/teacher assignment.
Meet and Greet
We will be hosting a school-wide meet and greet for all students and families on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 3:00-4:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for students to meet their teacher and see their classroom. Additionally, students can drop off their school supplies in their classrooms during the meet and greet. We hope you can join us for this event!
PTA Kindergarten Popsicles on the Playground
Following our school-wide meet and greet, our kindergarten students are invited to join our PTA on the playground for popsicles. This is an opportunity for our kindergarten students to get to know their classmates, get familiar with our playground, and enjoy a popsicle! This event will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 4:00-4:30 PM.
