Principal Notes:
I won't be in the building Monday. Matt is in charge. If you need me specifically, you can text me.
I am aware of the bickering and conflict revolving around the 8th grade graduation. It is being addressed. I will inform everyone of final details and location as soon as I can. Please do not discuss this with students unless it is in a positive way, putting out any fires that may begin to spark. We all need to set a good example for our students regarding being positive and keeping our conversations beneficial and encouraging rather than negative and unbecoming when addressing conflict and try to repair some of the ugliness they may have heard.
If you have not yet communicated with Tracy regarding your school supply list for next year, please do so ASAP. She would like to get the information out to the stores. Even if you do not want to make any changes, please shoot her a message and let her know so she can move forward.
I have had 3 people volunteer to meet with me a few times throughout the summer to plan RTI. We will be designing an RTI plan with a set curriculum for each teacher to use for RTI. Please let me know if you would also like to be a part of this planning.
I am also going to begin writing a school improvement plan. If you would like to serve on this team, please let me know. Additionally, if you have any suggestions of improvements that you believe need to be addressed, please email me.
One of my current personal goals is communication - particularly in regard to teachers, students, and parents. If you have any suggestions regarding this, please help me out and let me know what they are as I continue to address this issue before the next school year.
