What is a Firefighter?
A Firefighter is a person who responds to calls. The calls are either a car wreck or a fire. It can be any kind of fire such as : construction fire, woods on fire or any type of fire. They fight fires and help people who are in need.
What education do I have to have?
I need to have at least an associates degree in fire science, and I have to get certified in certain things. The things I need to get certified in are: EMT certification, paramedic certification and a state certification. I also need to attend a fire academy, pass a medical examination, pass fitness tests, and a written exam.
