    Cold Lunch Protocols

We have been experiencing a large number of lunch deliveries during school. These deliveries require us to call students out of class to pick up their lunch, which creates a disruption for all students. While we understand students may forget their cold lunch occasionally, we ask parents to please not bring fast food or home lunches to school late on a regular basis. Thank you!

    Jewelry and Long Nails

As part of our school safety protocols, we ask that students do not wear large jewelry or long nails. We encourage our students to engage in physical activity during recesses and require robust activity during PE. Jewelry and nails can cause accidental scratching or other injuries during these activities. Please ensure that your children do not wear big jewelry o long nails to school. They will be asked to remove them for the safety of all students.

    Homework Help!

VUSD's After-hours Academic Assistance (AAA) program is proving itself a real success! This program is available to all VUSD students grades K-12 at no charge, four evenings a week. Homework assistance will be lead by certificated VUSD teachers in all grades and mostly all subjects. The AAA program helps students with homework from content previously covered in class.
