FINAL P.T.O. MEETING OF THE YEAR

Interested in volunteering for Clayton Elementary? PTO is actively seeking volunteers for next school year. Stay tuned this summer for our Family Night event in late August. We'll host an event to share more about volunteering with PTO and we'll start planning the 5th Annual Fun Run!
SPIRIT STORE OPEN NOW UNTIL APRIL 30th
1st Annual READ-A-THON SUCCESS!
Congratulations! The Clayton Elementary community made our 1st annual Read-A-Thon a super success! We blasted past our $6,000 goal and raised $7,460! These funds will be used for special school projects and teacher appreciation, this year and next. And in addition, Clayton Tigers read a total of 15,415 minutes! Many thanks to our PTO members, teachers, students and families for participating- we plan on bringing this successful event back next year!
VIRTUAL COLORADO STEM NIGHT KINDERGARTEN - 5th
Colorado STEM Without Boundaries President. STEM Without Boundaries is a nonprofit organization committed to encouraging, educating, and empowering students around the globe to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. We are hosting a Virtual STEM Night for students of the community to be introduced to careers in STEM on Monday, April 26th from 5-7 PM MST. At the event this year, there are six different organizations attending including the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the CU American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and a local robotics team to lead demos, interactive activities, and talk about STEM careers.

GRANT FUNDING -
Putting Our Funds to Good Use
With your support and donations, Clayton PTO considers grant applications from our teachers throughout the year. Recently, we funded:
- Art sketch pads and cleaning wipes!
- Teacher/Staff Wellness Committee Giveaways and Weekly Raffle Prizes!
- Positive Behavior Incentives!

Many thanks to the 48 families who raised $779 for Clayton kids and teachers, just by shopping at King Soopers between January and March! Please sign up- every family that links their shopper card/phone number to Clayton PTO makes a difference and it's super easy to help!

- Sign-in to your King Soopers account (New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card)

- Then, every time you shop at King Soopers with your rewards account (using your rewards card or entering your phone number), a portion will be donated to Clayton kids and teachers!
BOX TOPS
All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit your school’s earnings online.
