Simile
His eye is like a sparrow.
A simile is a sentence comparing two things with like or as.
It means the eagle is starring right at a sparrow with the sparrow starring back.
Metaphor
He's huge for 6 months old.
A metaphor is a sentence comparing two things without using like or as.
Her cub has grown so fast in a short period of time.
Personification
Put me down before I bite you!
Personification is giving human qualities to non-human things.
The turtle wants the human to put him down.
