Buckingham Parent News

April 2016

Note from the principal...

I can't believe it is April already. Wow! We have had such a successful and fun year thus far. I want to thank all of you for your support of Buckingham students and staff. In life, there are many challenges and successes. At Buckingham we have a culture of supporting each other through challenges and celebrating the successes with all. I am very grateful to our parents who are always willing to work with the school and come up with creative solutions to improve.

Our vision is to create an environment for students to become persistent, creative problem solvers through a STEM integrated education. Our goals are aimed at supporting your child's success in achieving Academic Excellence, becoming a Thriving Citizen, and a Future Ready student of life. We will continue to communicate our efforts towards these goals. I hope to see you at April's events found below.

Social Emotional Learning at Buckingham...

This year we have hired our school psychologist, Stephanie Luckachick to teach all of our students at Buckingham about character traits, problem solving, kindness, and anti-bullying strategies. We have seen the benefits of having students using the same common language and we hope your students are sharing their learning with you.
