Be on the lookout for information about Raider
Raider is a chatbot that JW Leary Junior High will be using to connect with families.
Massena Central School District is one of 18 schools throughout the nation to be awarded a grant to incorporate artificial intelligence software to support students and families. We are excited to share that on February 3rd we will be launching Raider the chatbot.
What is Raider?
Raider is a chatbot that uses text messages and a knowledge base to answer your questions about MCSD and help your child succeed. You know how Siri and Alexa can answer lots of your questions?
What if Raider can’t answer my question?
Raider knows a lot about MCSD, but no bot is perfect. If Raider doesn’t know an answer, a real human will read your question and get you an answer within 24 hours.
Will my texts to Raider be read?
Yes. All texts, even those that Raider can’t answer, are reviewed by humans to ensure accuracy and continually improve Raider’s knowledge base.
Can I opt out if I don’t want texts?
Of course! Raider is meant to help. If you don’t want to engage with Massena Central School District over text, just text STOP at any time.
Raider will launch through a text message that will be sent to all district families.
Raider will launch next Wednesday, 2/3.
