Yearbook Update
Friday, January 25th is Clubs and Groups Picture Day.
Each BMMS Club and Group (choir, band, orchestra) will be having group photo taken on Friday, January 25th.
The schedule was sent to all club advisers this past week to share with their club/group. Music groups will have photos taken during their regular class period. Several music groups that have multiple sections of the same course will have their photo taken during a certain period. (Your music teacher will notify you if you are in this situation. This mostly affects Fifth and Sixth Grade music groups.). Clubs will be photographed scattered throughout the school day.
The schedule will also be posted on the Cafeteria windows and auditorium doors. NO ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL BE MADE DURING THE SCHOOL DAY.
Students should make note of what time your photo is to be taken. Leave class five minutes before your scheduled time (Fifth graders - leave seven [7] minutes before your scheduled photo time.). Report quietly and directly to the auditorium and check in with Mr. Lowell, Yearbook Adviser.
Teachers will be notified of which clubs and groups are being photographed each period. They have been asked to share this at the beginning of each period in case it affects someone in their classroom. But, it is the students' responsibility to know what time their club or group photo is taking place and arrive on time.
All photos will be taken in the auditorium.
Questions should be addressed to Mr. Lowell, Yearbook Adviser. mlowell@berea.k12.oh.us

Preparing for the Cold Weather
Please make sure that your child dresses for the weather. Our school assumes that anyone sent to school will be prepared for the conditions outside. Due to the structure of our school's arrival and dismissal it is necessary that students come prepared for the weather. Students need to have warm coats, hats, gloves and boots (if necessary). Dismissal can take up to 20 minutes. We encourage you to label your child's items in the event that they get lost.
During appropriate weather there are times 5th graders may be permitted to have free time outside. As in our elementary schools, if temperatures and wind chill are higher than 20 degrees there is a possibility of outdoor free time.
