Thank you to all who participated in this week’s Lucky to be a Cyclone Week! It was fun to see us shine, sparkle, and celebrate our amazing school community!
This week, our 5th graders enjoyed a performance from our talented MMS Vocal Dimension students. It was wonderful to see so many former Cyclones show off their talents! All of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been working hard to practice their writing skills. Thank you to all of our teachers and staff for helping them understand our state rubric and how it will be used to measure their writing on the state assessments that are coming up in April and May. In 2nd grade, our students continue to travel around the world learning about the various continents and what makes each one unique.
As a reminder, our students are off from March 24th through April 2nd for Spring Break. I wish all of our Cyclone families a relaxing and memorable time together! We look forward to seeing you when we return on Monday, April 3rd!

Attention 5th Grade Parents: Save the Date - June 6th
This year’s 5th Grade Celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 6th, during the school day. The celebration will take place at the Grove Amphitheater, 425 North Commons Blvd, in Mayfield Village. Students will be transported to and from the event by bus. This celebration will include graduation from the DARE program. Click here for more information regarding 5th grade year end events.
Shout Outs
Throughout the year, we will again collaborate as a school community to live out our school motto; Center Cyclones CARE. This message will be shared and practiced through Morning Meetings, Closing Circles, Virtual Morning Announcements, and much more. One way that we like to acknowledge students and staff members for positive acts of kindness is through our Center Shout Outs. As we learn together throughout the year, community members are encouraged to use this link to share about a student or staff member who has made a positive impact on the Cyclone Community. Our students and staff enjoy hearing these Shout Outs on our morning announcements each day!
