Warrior News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
January 24, 2020
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
Huge shout out to all of our students and families for a great Finals week. We truly appreciate your support and partnership as our students and families navigate all that comes with the end of the semester. Please make sure to take a moment and reflect on the great work that has been done so far and be sure to discuss some new goals to make our second semester the absolute best it can be.
Along those same lines, thank you to the 300 plus parents/guardians who completed our Parent Satisfaction Survey in December. Your feedback and comments are extremely important to our continuous growth. Here is a brief summary of the results:
Our overall parent satisfaction score increased from 4.00 last year to 4.10 this year.
MHS Celebrations include:
4.48 - The school is clean and well maintained
4.37 - I would recommend this school to other parents (Warrior Pride - .15 increase!)
4.34 - I am proud to say I have a child at this school (More Warrior Pride - Wow .12 increase!)
Areas for improvement include:
3.34 - I receive positive messages about my child from school via phone calls, Infinite Campus, emails or notes (increased by .02)
3.75 - I regularly receive feedback from school staff on how well my student is learning (increased by .07)
3.84 - My child is recognized for good work and behavior (increased by .05)
Again, thank you to all who took the time to complete this important survey. Our staff will review these results and create action steps for improvement. If you have any questions about our results or action steps please feel free to reach out and set up a time to meet.
As always, don’t forget to check out our school’s web page and calendar to see what’s happening at MHS next week. Your attendance at our events is always appreciated and has a significant impact on the school culture that we are so proud of.
Have an awesome day and GO WARRIORS!

GPS Information Night
Do you have a current 10th or 11th grader who may benefit from a work-based learning program instead of attending a traditional high school? A representative will be presenting information about this unique program on March 5th, at 6pm in Room 234 at Muskego High School. Please note: This is the same night as Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Behavior in America class Food Drive
Hello MHS Students and Families!
From January 27th - 31st, Ms. Glaser’s Behavior in America class will be running a food drive as a way to honor the work and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. All donations will go to Feeding America. Please donate non-perishable food items (no glass please!) in your 2nd hour class during this week. The class with the most donations will win a prize!
Another way to help support the food drive is by donating at the Winterizer on January 31st! The event will be held at the high school from 5 pm until 10 pm. Donations can be brought to any of the various sporting events -- Diving, Wrestling, Girl’s Basketball, or Boy’s Basketball. The teams will be having a competition amongst themselves to see which team can raise the most amount of food. You can choose which team you want your donation to count towards.
Please help us reach our goal of donating 750 pounds of food. Thank you for giving back to your community!
Sincerely,
The Behavior in America Students
