Nurture. Collaborate. Own
Scarborough's Summary
January has already been a busy month. We enjoyed our Data conversations this week with grade levels. I know the information you gathered will help in planning instruction for the upcoming weeks. We look forward to being in your classrooms this month to see your awesome work with students!
A reminder that Monday is a holiday. Enjoy! Tuesday is a no leave day. Also, preference forms are due back by Friday, 1/19. Thank you!
Kudos Korner from the Admin Team
Kudos to my Admin team for a great meeting with Dr. Hunter!
Kudos to Aisha and Deb for their work putting together an awesome Spelling Bee!
Custodian Closet
When entering and exiting the building make sure the door locks (catches) behind you and nothing has prevented the door from closing all the way and locking. The safety of all is my number one priority.
We are seeing a lot of large stains on the classroom carpet, please call the office when you have a spill. The county replaces the carpet every 10 or more years!
Please make sure your students are daily picking up the classroom floor (pencils, crayons, pieces of paper, books, etc.) Also please encourage your students to sharpen their pencil over the waste basket if they are using a small hand help sharpener and not doing inside their desk in the pencil tray.
