MHS Updates
Moving Forward
The above quote reflects what we all experienced over the last week as parents, students, educators, administrators, and the community. I want to thank our parents for their patience as last minute day to day decisions had to be made. I want to thank our students for coming to school and showing patience and flexibility. I am also proud of all the students who have been proactive in communicating with their teachers during this time.
I told everyone "we are entering the unknown" and that we certainly did, but now is the time we bring back focus to our students and finish the school year strong. This will take a team effort from parents, students, and teachers.
The Final Weeks
- Start preparing for final exams now. A little bit each night will help long term memory.
- Attend tutoring if needed.
- Communicate with teachers on missing assignments and re-takes.
- Parents can check Parent Vue to stay informed.
- Be proactive and don't wait until the last minute, last minute is too late.
- Be present at school, get lots of rest, and eat a healthy diet.
These are all talking points you can have with your child over the next few weeks.
