Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

As we begin to celebrate you this week and the fantastic job that you do every day, I want you to know how much I appreciate you. I hope that you will enjoy the festivities this week that have been planned for you.

Dr. Seuss is the theme of the week and below are a few excerpts from his books. These quotes are timely for the job that you do and the students that you teach. I know I do not tell you enough but, thank you!

  • The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.
  • Why fit in when you were born to stand out?
  • A person's a person no matter how small.
  • Today you are you, that is truer that true. There is no one alive that you your than you!
  • You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
  • and think low and think high Oh! the Thinks you can think if only you try!
  • Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, it's never going to get better...It's not!
  • Will you succeed? Yes you will indeed! Ninety-eight and three-quarters percent guaranteed.
  • It is better to know how to learn than to know.
  • Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.
  • You're on your own. And you know what you know. And you are the one who'll decide where to go...

We will begin our Teacher Appreciation Week with Mrs. Bea's breakfast in the conference room from 7:15-7:45 tomorrow morning. Hope you will get to school early enough to enjoy this treat!

Thank you.
