Greetings Beaumont Families,
Welcome to the second quarter of comprehensive distance learning. We made it! While there have been a few bumps this school year, as we have needed to work out a few kinks, we feel so fortunate to get to work with your child(ren). As we enter the second quarter, please be sure to help your student prepare, in order to have a strong start. Please take note of the following:

If you have not done so, please remember to log-in to ParentVue to update your re-enrollment paperwork for your student.
Conference Sign- up Updates

Introducing Ms. Roll
Teaching has always been enjoyable for me. When I was a kid I was so excited when my school, Woodstock School, was giving away their old antique desks and I was able to get and then keep a few of them in my bedroom to playschool! Today is the real deal! I have been a special education teacher for the past 13 years. Being an advocate for and helping students who may struggle with school a little or a lot more than average gives my job as a special education teacher purpose and joy.
When I am not teaching or working on my other duties as a special education case manager, I can often be found outside in the garden or out hiking with my husband (and hopefully dog soon) on trails in the hills and at the ocean or mountains. I love hiking, kayaking, biking, and taking photos of nature.
I have a 19-year-old son at the U of O and a 17-year-old daughter, a senior at Grant. We also have a 12-year-old rescued kitty and just adopted a 2-year-old rescued dog. On an animal-related note, during the past several years I have had Pet Partner registered dog therapy teams come to my classroom from time to time with their dog to sit with my students for reading and math. Combining my love for animals with my love for teaching has been a dream come true.
