Principal's Message
I miss you all so much. I truly hope everyone is in good health and hanging in there through this tough time. It's hard to believe the end of the school year is here and that we cannot say a proper good-bye to our students for the summer.
Next Monday, June 8th, we are planning to have our pick-up/ drop-off day. Please read below for more information. It is important that all parents follow the guidelines to keep everyone safe. If possible we are requesting that parents only attend.

Student Materials Pick Up/ Drop Off
On June 8th you will have an opportunity to come to school to retrieve your child’s belongings. This is not the time to socialize and if possible, please keep the children at home. Everyone on site needs to follow all social distancing guidelines and is required to wear a mask. This time is to pick up the child's belongings, return library books, return Chromebooks, and pick up any medication that is at the school office. Please make sure you bring everything you need to return as we only want parents to be on campus once. Below are the directions everyone must follow….
Please come to campus on your designated time slot by student last name.
Boxes will be placed around the campus for library books. Place library books in any marked box. All library books are due June 8th. Boxes will be located…

There will be a Chromebook drop off table near the intermediate hallway. If you have a 5th or 6th grade student and you need the Chromebook to view the promotion, please email Ms. Johnson (tjohnson@fusdk12.net) to make alternative plans.
Outside your student’s classroom there will be a bag labelled with your child’s name that contains their belongings. Please take only your child’s belongings.
There will be a medication pick-up outside the nurses door of the office, please stop by there if your child has medication that needs to be picked up. Please remember that we do not keep medication for the following school year.
Be sure to look on the benches behind the MUR for Lost and Found items.

Yearbook Update
Report Cards
The Illuminate Parent Portal will be where parents/guardians can see report cards at the end of the school year. Final report cards will be posted by June 16, 2020.
Parents/guardians should have already received information about enrolling in Parent Portal from emails sent by the Technology Department. If you have not received this registration notice, please email portalsupport@fusdk12.net.

As we are wrapping up the school year, there are many things students should be proud of and celebrate! This year has been quite a ride. Now is more important than ever to review those positive takeaways with your child. Find ways at home to celebrate those victories!

Library News
7th Grade New Immunization Enrollment Requirements for School Year 2020-21
Pertussis Booster and #2 Varicella Required for 7th Grade – 2020/2021 School Year
All students entering the 7th grade in the 2020/2021 school year must receive a Tdap (Pertussis/ Whooping Cough) booster and second Varicella (Chicken pox) immunization before entering school in August 2020.
Proof of the vaccine must include: Student’s name, date of birth, vaccine name, date vaccine administered and name of the clinic, office, or doctor administering the vaccine.
School Site Vandalism
As many of you are aware we have had some vandalism at Green. We have decided to board up many of the windows to protect them. Video cameras have also been mounted around the school. If you see any suspicious activity, please call Fremont Police non-emergency line at 510-790-6800, option 3. Please do not place yourself in harm’s way.
