All After School Labs are done for the year except for Podcasting Club (ends June 7th). Thank you for participating!
Sunday, June 3rd. End of the year student celebration! Reception at 4:30-7pm. Student performance at 5pm (limited seating). This year's theme of bravery will be celebrated at The URBN Center Black Box Theater with an arts centered celebration. There will be a student written and directed plays, student writing and student art. There is limited seating for the play: sign up with this link.Light refreshments will be served.
Tuesday, June 5th there will be a 5th & 6th grade dance from 2pm-3:15pm. To attend the dance students must have 1. good academic standing which means no missing work and approaching expectations (a grade of C or above) in all their classes 2. no negative progress notes between today and the date of the dance. Students can bring a change of clothes and may not leave during the day and return for the dance.
Wednesday, June 6th: New Family Night at SLA-Center City (55 N.22nd Street) from 5-7pm.
Friday, June 8th: Chromebook collection day!! ALL Chromebooks will be collected, along with their case and charger. Students will receive an invoice for missing or damaged items.
Tuesday, June 12th: Last day of school for students! Happy Summer!

Our wonderful partners, UCAL Arts League, are having an Ice Cream Fundraiser on June 3rd from 1-3pm at 4226 Spruce St. $10 gets you hand-made ceramic bowl filled with ice cream. Free ice-cream refills while supplies last. Vegan ice cream will be available. Follow this link for more details.

Al-bustan Seeds Camp: Al-Bustan’s Arabic language and cultural day camp is back for another summer of fun and learning in Center City! Here is more information about this cultural organization's summer camp.
April 30th: Applications are due for Super Camp, offered by Grass Roots Community Organization. This camp describes itself as a "family-based camp for girls of African descent." The camp "is based on psychological theories that recognize the relationship between positive racial and social identity development for children’s well-being."
