Caruso Connect - May 12th
Caruso Middle School is an inclusive and vibrant community where Blue Jays
take ownership of their social-emotional and academic growth by supporting,
challenging, and celebrating self and others.
Good Evening Blue Jay Families:
Thank you for your efforts in getting your students to school this week on time for MAP testing, it was so helpful! As we count down the last few weeks of school we are working on helping our students focus on the time that they have left. We ask your help in focusing students on what remains of this school year. We also want to let you all know that Mr. Monaco has taken a role in a new school. We wish him the best in this next chapter in his professional life and are thankful for his contributions to our school this past year. We invite students, staff, and families to let us know what qualities our next AP should have! Please consider completing this short needs assessment. We will soon be starting interviews and are looking for students to help us! Please encourage students to complete this survey and sign up to help. If your student is selected we will be in touch with families to let you know. This has been sent directly to all students.
Finally, this week we celebrated teacher & staff appreciation week, thank you for all you did for us! Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms in our community!
Enjoy the weekend,
Tim, Jim, Caitlin & the Caruso Staff

Focusing on the development of historical thinking skills, reading comprehension, critical thinking, and analyzing text through multiple perspectives, this course takes students through four modules: Introduction to Philosophical Thinking, Ethical Theories, Political Philosophy and Applied Ethics.
Open to: All Students, especially designed for rising 9th graders.
Credit: 1 elective credit. This course does not meet a graduation requirement.
