OES Students are 100 Days Smarter!

Friday, we celebrated the 100th Day of School! Many of our students engaged in fun 100 day activities, along with showing love and kindness during our Valentines Day parties.

Despite the circumstances of this tough year, our students are continuing to work hard and do their best. Below is some data from our Accelerated Reader program showing how much reading we have done this year! The web based programs our students use are very helpful, but nothing replaces a good book in the hands of our students. Students reading consistently within their reading zone is still an effective way for students to show learning gains in ELA.

We have seen lots of students working in our new Freckle program which is targeting their specific academic need. Many students are able to continue their learning from home by accessing Freckle after school. Be sure to remind your child to focus on accuracy and taking their time on each question. The Quick Start Guide and link is below.
